The Watch button lets a reader on your site express interest in a product for consideration later – at a date defined by the reader, when the price goes down, and when other product-relevant events occur.

When your web page includes a product review or some other product-specific highlight (e.g., images, product lists), the Watch button provides a way for the users to find out more without taking them away from your page. When users click the Watch button, they will see an image, the name and manufacturer of the product; current lowest price; a suggested price at which to set price reduction alert; and a suggested date on which to receive a reminder about the product.

First-time users of the Watch button will be asked to provide an email address where they would like to receive reminders and/or price drop notifications.
